Songs of the Moon and the Flower
Antonina Nowacka
Curated by Cripta747
Songs of the Moon and the Flower is a new series of solo vocal improvisations by Antonina Nowacka. The artist continues a long-standing research practice developed through years of vocal experimentation in natural environments and resonant architectures, such as caves, churches and open landscapes, where the relationship between body, sound and space becomes central. In May 2026, Antonina Nowacka continued her research during a residency at Cripta747.
Nowacka approaches the voice as a living substance, capable of generating spaces, imaginaries and perceptual states. Through a non-verbal, atmospheric approach, the voice becomes a constantly evolving field of frequencies, unfolding in real time into minimal, hypnotic and immersive soundscapes. Singing acts as a sensitive transmission that directly shapes perception and imagination, opening up states between wakefulness and dreaming and inviting a meditative, almost ritualistic mode of listening.
